Halong Bay Hanoi
Its another glorious day for a Tai Chi session or just enjoy sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Savor a morning cup of coffee or tea before exploring nearby islands by rowboat.
Later this morning return to the ship and admire Halong Bay’s majestic rock formations from the sundeck. Enjoy brunch on board before disembarking where your driver will meet you at the jetty and transfer you back to Hanoi.

Riding in a seaplane may seem like an experience straight out of a movie, but anything is possible when you travel with AVG.
For 25-minutes, you will get a birds-eye-view of the worldrenowned Halong Bay including the large limestone formations that ascends from the colourful water.

Embark on a half-day tour of Hanoi’s highlights, beginning with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Next, the historic One Pillar Pagoda, an iconic temple renowned for its unique architectural design and spiritual significance. Continue your journey to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, where you can marvel at its ancient courtyards, pavilions, and statues that have stood the test of time.
Your tour will also take you to the serene Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Vietnam, beautifully situated on the banks of West Lake.
Later, will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. You’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Spend your evening at leisure, exploring the charming streets of Hue or indulging in dinner at a local restaurant.

Delve into the rich history of Hue. Visit the Imperial Citadel and Tu Duc’s tomb, the longest-reigning Nguyen Dynasty emperor. Enjoy a cycle tour around Hue, discovering its historic sites and local culture.
Next up, cruise up the Perfume River to visit Minh Mang’s tomb and the traditional Thien Mu Pagoda.
finish off your tour exploring the vibrant Dong Ba market in the late afternoon before returning to your hotel to relax.

Hue Hoi An Golden Bridge Tour
Check out from your hotel after breakfast and head to the iconic Golden Bridge on Ba Na Mountain. Travel by cable car up to the Marseille station, and take a short walk to the Golden Bridge, known for its unique architecture and stunning views.
Explore the romantic Le Jardin D’Amour flower garden with its nine themed gardens and visit Linh Ung Pagoda, featuring sophisticated architecture and a 27-meter-high Shakyamuni statue.
Afterwards, descend by cable car and transfer to the charming town of Hoi An. Check into your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure.

You’ll be picked up at your hotel for a 40-kilometre drive to My Son Sanctuary, a World

After, we’ll return to Hoi An for a cruise down the Thu Bon River. Enjoy the peaceful and scenic views before stopping off at the famous traditional, Thanh Ha Pottery Village where you’ll get to see the villagers’ daily life.

Ho Chi Minh City Cu Chi Tunnels
After breakfast, head to Cu Chi Tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Viet Minh and the Viet Cong during Vietnam-US war. The tunnel system had become legendary during the 1960s as a strategic military base and underground community life.

Dinner on Saigon River Cruise offers an opportunity to witness another side of Saigon. The city is not only a bustling metropolis but also a romantic land. Ho Chi Minh City Tour Departure
Your last day in Vietnam today see you embark on a city tour, visiting such landmarks as Notre Dame Cathedral – situated in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the cathedral stands adjacent to the Saigon Central Post Office, another architectural gem from the French colonial period. Stop for a photo op at the Post Office before continuing on to the war Remnant Museum. Next dive right into the colourful Ben Thanh Market, one of Chi Minh’s liveliest areas.
Later this afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Asia Vacation Group offers you a pay in “3 Instalment Payment Plan” as follows
- First payment: $300 per person deposit due at time of booking
- Second payment: $2,000 per person due 7 days after the initial booking.
- Final payment: Balance due 120 days before your departure date.

This package includes return flights from Sydney/Melbourne with Vietnam Airlines.
Flights from Adelaide, Brisbane attract a $400 surcharge. Perth attracts a $300 surcharge.
Airline Selection: We book the best available airlines for your journey, which may include a mix of full-service and low-cost carriers. Specific airline requests can be made at the time of purchase. This includes upgrades to your preferred carrier, premium economy or business class cabins or specific seats. Whilst we will try our best, not all requests can be confirmed.
Flight Conditions: Flights may not be direct and could involve a maximum of two transits.
Ticketing Information: Once issued, tickets are non-refundable. Changes are subject to airline rules, airline change fees, and an Asia Vacations Group change fee of $250 per person.
Passenger Details: Please ensure all traveller names are as per passports. This includes all middle names. Errors may incur a name change fee of $150 plus airline charges, or require the purchase of a new ticket.
Flight Schedule Changes: Any changes or cancellations to airline schedules are outside our control. We recommend staying updated with airline schedules before departure. Additional expenses for extended transits or alternative arrangements are the traveller’s responsibility.
Internal Airfares: Local flights included in your itinerary may utilise low-cost carriers without meals or entertainment. Checked baggage is included; any additional baggage fees are payable at check-in.
Booking Considerations: If travelling with others on separate bookings, we may not be able to guarantee all flights are the same due to availability.
Luggage and Fees: You are responsible for your luggage at all times. Excess baggage fees, if incurred, are payable directly to the airline. All tickets will include 20 kg checked baggage per person, plus 7 kg of hand luggage. We recommend travelling with a max 20kg per person due to restrictions on internal flights (where applicable), as well as coach and train transportation. Please note, you will be responsible for handling your luggage at all times as the services of porters are not included.
No-Show Policy: Missing your flight may result in fees including a no-show fee, airline reissue fee, and possible new ticket purchase. Asia Vacations Group charges a $250 admin fee for re-booking assistance.
Price Adjustments: Prices are final at the time of ticketing. Any subsequent changes may result in additional costs due to factors beyond our control, such as currency fluctuations or airline surcharges.

Physical Requirements
A reasonable level of fitness is required but it’s more about spending time on your feet rather than covering large distances. You’ll be getting on and off coaches and boats, walking around the sights and climbing some steps.
Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. Tipping is AU$10/person per day. Tipping is collected by agent before travelling or the day of your arrival.

Visa & Passport information
Please ensure that your passport has at least 6 months validity from your travel date. You should also have a minimum of 2 blank pages in your passport. Please ensure that all names match passport, including all middle names.
A visa is required for travel to Vietnam. Asia Vacation Group can assist you with the visa process. Please speak to our reservations team for assistance. The visa and handling cost is $160 per person for a single entry visa.
Children
Children must be 12 month old or above and share a room with parents at all times. Children is up 5 years old are charged the same price as adults.
