On arrival into Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH), upon entering into the arrivals hall, you will be met by a local representative and transferred to your accommodation.
Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.
At approximately 6:00pm, you will have your Welcome Meeting where you will meet your English-speaking guide, fellow travellers and have an introduction to your tour.

Windhoek Sossusvlei
This morning after breakfast, we begin our journey towards Namib Naukluft National Park. Known as the oldest desert on Earth, this area features the world’s largest sand dunes, found in Sossusvlei, and Sesriem, a narrow gorge created by the Tsauchab River.
Upon reaching Agama River Camp, our accommodation for the next two nights, we settle in for a comfortable stay. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax before dinner at the lodge. Tonight, you have the option to sleep under a canopy of stars from your “star bed” located on the roof of your chalet.

Sossusvlei
This morning, we rise early to begin our excursion to Sossusvlei, renowned for hosting the world’s tallest sand dunes. These majestic dunes, towering over 300 meters high, provide a spectacular sight and serve as a stunning backdrop for capturing breathtaking photographs. Following this, we continue our exploration to Deadvlei, a nearby white clay pan. Deadvlei, translating to “dead marsh,” offers a unique opportunity to wander among its iconic, lifeless trees, creating unforgettable photographic moments. Our itinerary also includes a visit to Sesriem Canyon, an ancient gorge carved millions of years ago by the Tsauchab River.
After our adventures, we return to the lodge in the afternoon, where the remainder of the day is free for leisure activities before gathering with your group for dinner later in the evening.

Sossusvlei Swakopmund
Today, we journey through the stunning Namib Naukluft National Park on our route to Swakopmund. This expansive desert, known as the Namib-Naukluft Desert, holds an ancient charm that spans ages. It is home to some of the rarest plant and animal species globally, making it an essential stop on any Namibian adventure. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of unique wildlife such as oryx, springbok, and Hartmann’s Mountain Zebra.
En route, we pause in the delightful town of Walvis Bay, where you may catch glimpses of various bird species, including the graceful flamingos inhabiting the lagoon. By afternoon, we arrive at the coastal town of Swakopmund. Here, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax and explore at your own pace.

Swakopmund
Following breakfast, we are fortunate to visit a local urban sustainability center, where we can explore their impressive initiatives in energy conservation, water management, waste reduction, and biodiversity protection. It’s a fascinating opportunity to see firsthand the innovative methods they use.
Later in the day, you have the freedom to enjoy the delightful atmosphere of this quaint German-influenced town. Take leisurely walks along its charming streets, explore local shops and cafes, or stroll along the beach promenades. If weather permits, you might even take a refreshing swim in the South Atlantic Ocean.
If you feel inclined, you may wish to explore the Skeleton Coast by plane – we recommend discussing this with your Tour Leader whilst in Swakopmund.

Swakopmund Etosha National Park
We say goodbye to the Atlantic coastline as we continue our journey towards the renowned gem of northern Namibia, Etosha National Park. Our accommodation for the first night is conveniently situated near the park, nestled on a picturesque spot of dolomite rocks that offer stunning vistas of a lush forest filled with Mopane and white Seringa trees.
You can spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, enjoying moments of tranquility, or take a leisurely stroll through the natural bush and charming gardens. For those interested in an immersive wildlife experience, optional game drives can be arranged directly with the lodge, providing opportunities to encounter the park’s diverse fauna (additional charges apply, can be booked during the tour).

Etosha National Park
Today, we journey across Etosha National Park from the western plains, enjoying a full-day game drive en route to our lodge situated on the park’s eastern side.
Over the next two days, our main focus will be immersive game drives, as we eagerly search for sightings of majestic creatures such as lions, leopards, elephants, and rhinos. Additionally, we remain vigilant for cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and the park’s numerous antelope species.
As night descends, our lodging for the next two nights offers a unique experience. We gather around floodlit waterholes or viewpoints, where we have the privilege of observing the park’s nocturnal inhabitants as they gather to drink.

Etosha National Park
Another entire day dedicated to game drives, aiming to spot the abundant wildlife that thrives in this remarkable park, including the famous “Big 5”. Etosha National Park was established as a protected area in 1907 and continues to be a sanctuary for approximately 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species, 16 amphibian species, and even includes one surprising fish species.
After a fulfilling day on safari, relax and unwind at your lodge this afternoon before coming together for dinner.

Etosha National Park Okavango River, Botswana
Continuing our northward journey from Etosha, we head towards the town of Rundu. Our first visit in this delightful locale is the Mbunza Living Museum, a distinctive establishment that serves as both a traditional cultural school and a community enterprise for the local Kavango people. Here, we engage in a cultural exchange, learning about the traditional practices and way of life of the Kavango community, who sustain themselves through fishing, cattle herding, and farming.
After this enlightening cultural experience, we proceed to our next destination, Kaisosi River Lodge, located alongside the tranquil banks of the Okavango River. We expect to arrive in the late afternoon, providing time to relax by the pool and enjoy a refreshing sundowner.

Okavango River
Today, we begin our journey eastward towards the picturesque western Caprivi region, heading towards Nunda River Lodge.
Continuing our adventure, we reach the charming lodge nestled on the peaceful banks of the Okavango River. Later in the afternoon, we enjoy a memorable sunset cruise to Popa Falls. This serene and scenic excursion offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, allowing you to fully experience the beauty of nature during the golden hour.

Okavango River
In the morning, we embark on an exhilarating game drive through the expansive Greater Bwabwata National Park, which spans from the Kavango River in the west to the Kwando River in the east, including the Mahangu Game Reserve. Keep watch for sightings of magnificent elephants, elegant roan antelopes, graceful kudus, and impressive buffalo herds. The park is also renowned for its rich birdlife, offering a captivating experience for bird enthusiasts.

Okavango River Maun
Leaving behind the enchanting Caprivi region, our journey heads south towards Maun, a lively town known as the gateway to the extraordinary Okavango Delta and the renowned Moremi Game Reserve.
Upon reaching Maun, the afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy at your leisure. You can unwind and recharge by the lodge pool, or for those seeking adventure, optional scenic flights over the Okavango Delta can be arranged directly through the lodge during the tour.

Maun Okavango Delta
After breakfast, gather with your local Botswana guide and fellow travelers joining you for the Botswana and Zimbabwe leg of your tour.
We embark on a brief drive to the mokoro station, where our journey begins. Nestled in traditional dug-out canoes called mokoros, we gently glide through the dense vegetation of the Okavango Delta, discovering a multitude of bird species and captivating wildlife. Unlike other deltas, the Okavango Delta doesn’t flow to the coast but instead disperses into the vast Kalahari Desert.
Following the mokoro excursion, we proceed to our next destination, Mankwe Tented Retreat, perfectly situated within the captivating Greater Moremi region. Once settled in, enjoy a delicious dinner before embarking on an exhilarating night game drive within the private concession. This provides an excellent opportunity to spot elusive nocturnal creatures that are harder to see during the day.

Okavango Delta
Today offers us an incredible opportunity to delve into exhilarating game drives. We set out to explore the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, navigating the expansive terrain in our open 4×4 vehicle. Morning and afternoon game drives take us deep into the reserve, where we anticipate encountering a diverse range of wildlife that calls this remarkable region home.
Moremi Game Reserve is celebrated for its abundant mammal population, providing excellent chances to observe a variety of species during each drive. Prepare for a day of adventure and the potential to witness extraordinary wildlife and stunning birdlife amidst the awe-inspiring landscapes of Moremi Game Reserve.

Okavango Delta Nata
We set out on a new path as we say goodbye to the bush and head eastward towards the captivating Makgadikgadi Pans. These vast pans were once a thriving river-fed lake but now stretch as expansive saline plains.
In the afternoon, we are privileged to visit the Nata Bird Sanctuary, a natural marvel offering stunning views over the Sowa Pan. This pan is part of the Greater Makgadikgadi Pans, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of the region. Please note that access to the pans depends on road conditions, water levels, and time availability. If conditions allow, this visit promises a mesmerizing experience, immersing us in the extraordinary landscapes and showcasing the unique ecological characteristics of the area.

Nata Chobe National Park
This morning, we head northward to Kasane, the gateway to the extraordinary Chobe National Park. Covering an expansive area of 10,566 square kilometers, Chobe is Botswana’s second largest national park. One of its most remarkable features is its exceptional concentration of elephants, making it one of the premier locations in Africa to observe these majestic creatures in their natural environment.
In the afternoon, you have free time to enjoy various optional activities or simply relax and unwind by the pool, tailoring your experience according to your preferences. Whether you opt for additional adventures or choose to take a moment to rejuvenate, the decision is entirely yours.

Today, we cross into Zimbabwe, beginning our thrilling journey to Hwange National Park where we will spend the next two nights. Across its expansive landscapes, large herds of elephants, buffalo, and zebras roam freely, creating a spectacular display of wildlife.

In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise along the mighty Zambezi River. Drifting along its tranquil waters, we soak in the warm glow of the setting sun, admiring the stunning beauty of the river and its picturesque surroundings. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy at your own pace.

How to book and Payments
Asia Vacation Group offers you a “3 Instalment Payment Plan”, you will be required to settle a small deposit followed by a series of instalments when you select to book your departure tour.
- First payment: You will be required to settle $300 per person deposit online through our website link.
- Second payment: You will be required to settle the second payment $2,000 per person after 7 days when you receive our company invoice.
- Final payment: Final payment will be collected 120 days before your departure.
However, you will have 7-day cooling off period. Please refer to “Flexible Cancellation” section.
Flexible Cancellation
If you change your mind within 7 days of making your booking online, you can request a refund of your initial deposit payment. Once your purchase date falls outside of the 7-day period, our standard terms and conditions will apply.

Airline Selection: We book the best available airlines for your journey, which may include a mix of full-service and low-cost carriers. Specific airline requests can be made at the time of purchase. This includes upgrades to your preferred carrier, premium economy or business class cabins or specific seats. Whilst we will try our best, not all requests can be confirmed.
Flight Conditions: Flights may not be direct and could involve a maximum of two transits.
Ticketing Information: Once issued, tickets are non-refundable. Changes are subject to airline rules, airline change fees, and an Asia Vacations Group change fee of $250 per person.
Passenger Details: Please ensure all traveller names are as per passports. This includes all middle names. Errors may incur a name change fee of $150 plus airline charges, or may require a forfeit of the existing ticket and purchase of a new ticket at an additional cost.
Flight Schedule Changes: Any changes or cancellations to airline schedules are outside our control. We recommend staying updated with airline schedules before departure. Additional expenses for extended transits or alternative arrangements are the traveller’s responsibility.
Internal Airfares: Local flights included in your itinerary may utilise low-cost carriers without meals or entertainment. Checked baggage is included; any additional baggage fees are payable at check-in.
Booking Considerations: If travelling with others on separate bookings, we may not be able to guarantee all flights are the same flight due to availability.
Luggage and Fees: You are responsible for your luggage at all times. Excess baggage fees, if incurred, are payable directly to the airline. All tickets will include 20 kg checked baggage per person, plus 7 kg of hand luggage. We recommend travelling with a max 20kg per person due to restrictions on internal flights (where applicable), as well as coach and train transportation. Please note, you will be responsible for handling your luggage at all times as the services of porters are not included.
No-Show Policy: Missing your flight may result in fees including a no-show fee, airline reissue fee, and possible new ticket purchase. AVG Travels charges a $250 admin fee for re-booking assistance.
Price Adjustments: Prices are final at the time of ticketing. Any subsequent changes may result in additional costs due to factors beyond our control, such as currency fluctuations or airline surcharges.

We understand customers may wish to request changes to their included airfares. If you wish to fly with a certain airline, land at a certain time or change your flight in other ways we will gladly provide you with a personalized quote tailored to your specific requirements.

- Cabin Preferences – These include upgrading to premium economy or business class
- Extensions (start and end cities must remain the same) – You may request to extend your stay pre or post tour.

Physical Requirements
A reasonable level of fitness is required. Participants should be comfortable navigating stairs, boarding and disembarking from the coach/4×4 vehicle, and walking reasonable distances, typically around 2 kilometres per day or more. Please disclose any physical conditions at the time of booking to assess suitability for the tour.
