Cape Town
Today, explore the beautiful city of Cape Town on a half-day tour.
The city centre drive features iconic landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope (built in 1666), City Hall, and the Grand Parade. Traveling along Adderley Street, you’ll encounter St. George’s Cathedral, the Company Gardens, and the vibrant Malay Quarter (also called Bo-Kaap), named “Above Cape” for its location on the slopes of Table Mountain. In the early 18th century, enslaved individuals from Java, Ceylon, and other regions were brought to Cape Town, and after the abolition of slavery, their descendants, the Cape Malays, made this area their home.
Your included ticket on the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is valid between 8:00am and 1:00pm but can be used till closing time should you not be able to make it within this time frame.
Embark on a journey to the summit of the world-renowned Table Mountain, rising high above the clouds. This iconic Cape Town landmark is one of the most photographed sites in South Africa and has been recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of Nature. Attracting millions of visitors from around the globe, Table Mountain has welcomed over 22 million guests to its peak since the aerial cableway began operation in 1929. At the upper cable station, visitors can enjoy a restaurant, a curio shop, and scenic footpaths perfect for exploration.

Kruger National Park
Today, you have the option of choosing an AM or PM game drive as part of your tour. You do have the chance to add another game drive to your booking.
AM game drive:
The safari departs from Hazyview early in the morning, just before the African bushveld heats up. These cooler hours are ideal for observing the day’s first animal activity, as predators like leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, and lions are most active. The morning safari lasts approximately three hours before a break for breakfast.
After breakfast or a light snack, it’s the perfect time to visit waterholes, where animals gather to quench their thirst before the day grows hotter. Our experienced and qualified guides ensure a memorable experience in the park. Guests will stop at a picnic spot or rest camp during the morning for breakfast and restroom breaks.
PM game drive:
Although wildlife often rests during the midday heat, an afternoon safari has its advantages. Our guides will have valuable information about earlier sightings and their locations, increasing the chances of finding thrilling wildlife encounters for our guests. Waterholes are particularly popular during this time, as many animals gather to cool off, and few sights are as delightful as watching elephants splash and play in the water.
As the day progresses and temperatures drop, animals become more active, especially as the park’s closing time approaches, offering excellent opportunities for sightings.
Be sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, warm clothing for winter, and a rain jacket for summer. Mineral water is provided on all safaris.
Should you not participate in an optional game drive, you are free to enjoy the resort’s facilities or head into the local town of Hazyview.

Optional tour: Kruger National Park game drive
Explore the world famous Kruger National Park on a game drive.
Bring your binoculars and keep your eyes peeled as you search for the Big-5: lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and African buffalo.
Pending the time of day, you will visit different locations within the park – in the AM, the open spaces are best for viewing ‘game’ as they go in search of their next meal, or their resting spot for the day. In the PM, watering holes are a popular spot as many animals will be looking to cool down.
There is no ‘best time’ to go on a game drive – the experiences are always different and unpredictable!
