AVG Travels offers you a “Instalment Payment Plan”, you will be required to settle a small deposit followed by a series of instalments (pending the value) when you select to book your package.

• Deposit payment: You will be required to settle a $100 per package deposit online through our website link.
• Final payment: Final payment will be collected 14 days after your deposit payment has been made.

However, should you choose to cancel your package after the deposit payment has been made – you will be issued a refund to the value of the deposit amount in the form of AVG Travels credit to use on a future booking.

If you need to cancel your booking and the final payment has been made and your booking is more than 21 days from your check-in, you will be issued a AVG Travels credit note to the value of your package. This credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue, to be used on any future AVG Travels packages (both Tours or Hotel Escapes). 

Please note: flight and service fees, if applicable, are non-refundable.

Should you wish to change your travel date, please contact our call centre to do so (date changes are only applicable outside of the standard cancellation period – greater than 21 days from check-in).

Once you have purchased this package, you will receive a receipt stating the amount paid and the amount outstanding. When you are ready to select a check-in date, please contact AVG Travels, state your AVG Travels booking number (stated on your receipt) and our helpful sales consultants will book your dates for you. Please note, we cannot guarantee that all dates will be available when you decide to book.

Once your check-in date is confirmed, you will receive an updated receipt noting these dates. Any changes to these dates after you have selected your check-in date cannot be guaranteed and are strictly subject to accommodation availability.

Known as the “Beam House” or “Garden House,” these structures date back to the 18th century and were originally built for princes, princesses, mandarins, and aristocrats. However, this priceless heritage is now under threat due to socio-economic and environmental challenges. Start your journey by strolling past other mandarin residences, alongside canals bordered by rows of areca palms. Explore garden houses that embody the timeless virtues of the royal family. Stop at the magnificent Spring Blossom Temple (Xuan Vien Tieu Cung), a shrine dedicated to a high-ranking mandarin, built in 1894 during the Thanh Thai Nguyen regime. Then, visit a local family known for crafting traditional Vietnamese conical hats, an enduring symbol of Vietnamese culture and women. For the past seven years, this family has used Indian almond leaves to create these iconic pieces. You’ll even have the opportunity to try painting on the leaf or on a folding fan to take home as a souvenir.

Child policy refers to infants from 0 to 3 years – who can stay free of charge at the property, on the provision they share the existing bedding with parents. The child aged 0 to 3 years do not count towards the maximum room capacity.
