Terms & Conditions
Duration:
The competitions under this Blanket Promotional Period open on Thursday, 12th of June, 2025 and close on Tuesday, 31st of December, 2025, with a new competition round running each calendar month.
Who can enter?
The competition is open to Australia and New Zealand residents aged 18 years and above at the date of entry, excluding employees of AVG Travels and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
How to enter?
- Eligible Entrants may enter the competition by entering their contact details in our database at www.avgtravels.com.au within the promotional period outlined in the Schedule below.
- Eligible Entries must include all requested contact details, including a valid email, first name and last name or postal address (as requested), to be eligible to win. Entrants may only enter in their own name. Inaudible, incomprehensible, illegible, and incomplete entries will be considered invalid.
Number of entries per person
Entrants may only enter once during the entire competition period.

Prize
- In each monthly competition, only one winner will receive a $500 travel voucher (issued in AUD for Australian residents or NZD for New Zealand residents). Records of all prizes and winners will be kept by AVG Travels.
- The winner will be chosen at random by draw software, from all entries received and verified by AVG Travels.
Voucher Conditions
- To redeem your voucher, please contact AVG Travels on 0800 220 920, or book online and enter the Voucher Code at checkout.
- This AVG Travels Voucher must be declared during the time of purchase and may be used towards Tour, Cruise packages listed on www.avgtravles.com/nz at the time of presentation, excluding all China tours.
- This AVG Travels voucher is NOT valid for flight tickets, travel visas, travel insurance, or any optional tours/ supplements /surcharges /upgrades associated with a current or previous travel booking.
- This AVG Travel must be used for a single transaction and cannot be split across multiple bookings.
- This AVG Travels voucher is non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and cannot be used with any other gift vouchers, loyal program or gift certificates.
Competition Winners are to refer to specific Terms and Conditions tied to the competition entry. - Prize must be used in full by expiry date indicated and in accordance with terms of use.
Other Terms and Conditions
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- AVG Travels will ensure that all entries have an equal chance of winning a prize.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The winner will be notified via email or phone number (as determined by contact details provided by the entrant) to receive the prize within 2 business days of the draw. The winner will be published via Facebook and Instagram.
- If the prize is not claimed within 29 days of the winner being notified, despite reasonable attempts by AVG Travels to reach the winner, the prize will be considered unclaimed. In such circumstances, no further drawing will occur. AVG Travels will keep the unclaimed prize.
- Photo Usage: By submitting an entry into this competition, entrants grant AVG Travels the right to use their name and any photos provided as part of the prize claim for the winner announcement posts on social media and promotional materials.
- By submitting an entry into this competition, entrants consent to receive promotional and other marketing messages and emails from AVG Travels. Entrants will be able to opt out at any time by following the instructions included in each email/message sent by AVG Travels.
- All entrant’s information collected in connection with this competition will be handled in accordance with AVG Travels’ Privacy Policy.
- Final Decision: The AVG Travels’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
